Mark Freeman
Managing Director
Mark is a qualified chartered accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the upstream onshore gulf coast, exploring conventional plays and unconventional opportunities in Canada and the USA. In his roles as CEO, Company Secretary and Financial Controller of a number of public listed companies, he has honed a talent for discovering the requirements for directing growth within businesses.
In working with large multinationals and small energy companies, Mark and his team have been able to cross barrier of entries, facilitating success in turbulent markets.

He holds a B.Comm (UWA), Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment (Finisia) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mark’s achievements include the dramatic turnaround of Grand Gulf Energy. In 2010 the Company had liabilities of $7m, no assets and a recent well blow out. Following elimination of debt and participation in the La Posada discovery, the company became financially stable and set about increasing revenue and growth. Revenue increased from $83,000 in grossing to over $27.4m from 2011-2015, with no debt or equity raised.
Mark was one of the first experts on GST, has published articles and presented at a number of professional societies.
In 2015, Mark’s professional achievements and community contribution were recognised with a Business News 40under40 award.
Over Mark’s career in Financial Markets he has been involved in over $600m in fundraisings. Most recently
a $25m equity raise with Calima Energy in October 2018 and an additional $12.8m in July 2019.
Jeff Freeman
Director
Jeff is a highly experienced chartered accountant with vast national and international commercial experience at senior level. His clientele has included the proverbial corner shop to large public and international corporations.
He has served in a number of executive roles, including CEO of a public listed company and Finance Director of a large local engineering company and an international organization.
Jeff has developed strong management competencies over the years and remains up to date with industry software developments.
Andrew Law
Principal
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry in Australia, Africa and South America. His extensive technical and management experience ranges from deep level underground mining environments to large open pit environments and large mineral sands dredging environments.
Andrew’s specialist skills cover corporate strategic business planning and due diligence, management of feasibility studies, operational management and optimization, Ore Reserve compliance and auditing (ASX, TSX, SEC, SGX, JSE), corporate management mentoring and performance improvement reviews.
He has executive management experience at both the senior operations level and the corporate level with companies such as Plutonic Resources, Placer Dome, Moly Mines, Millennium Minerals, Mundo Minerals Ltd and St Barbara Ltd.
Andrew holds a Diploma in Mine Engineering (Wits) and an MBA from UWA. He is a Fellow of the AusIMM, a Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying – Australia and an Associate Fellow of AIM.
Sylvia Moss
Accountant
Sylvia is a qualified accountant with over 25 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance Management, including more than 10 years in in the resources sector in Australia and abroad.
Sylvia has developed specialist skills in corporate budgeting, management reporting, ASX and ASIC statutory reports, due diligence and auditing.
She holds a B.Compt, Accounting (Unisa)
Pamela Ryan
Administration Manager
Pamela’s career spans across three diverse resource sectors. 9 years in the oil & gas, mining and automotive sectors each offered unique opportunities and experiences.
In her roles in Administration & Accounts for public listed companies, she developed excellent time management and the ability to effectively work autonomously and as part of a well-functioning team.
